The Kyrgyz Republic has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Third Bishkek-Osh Road Rehabilitation Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications ("the Purchaser") now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of the following Road Maintenance Equipment and its related services.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

To purchase the bidding documents in English, eligible bidders should:

  • write to the address above
  • pay a non-refundable fee of US$100 by check or cash.

The Purchaser will deliver the Bidding Document by courier for an additional fee of US$100. The Purchaser accepts no liability for loss or late delivery.

Bidders shall deliver their bids:

  • on or before the deadline: 12 pm on 4 March 2005 (Late bids will be rejected.)
  • together with a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the total bid price.
  • to the address above

Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the above address.

The Purchaser is not responsible for bidders' expenses associated with preparing and delivering bids.
