The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Tongxin-Yanchuanzi Expressway under Ningxia Roads Development Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contracts named below.

CMC International Tendering Corporation (CITC, the Procureement Agent), authorized by Ningxia Yinwu Expressway Engineering Construction Headquarters (the Purchaser) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply, delivery, installation and related services of the following scope of works:

A bidder may bid for any contract package or combination of contracts. A bidder shall bid for all the items included in a contract.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

To obtain the Bidding Document in English, eligible bidders should:

  • write to CITC office or visit between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Beijing time on all working days
  • pay a non-refundable fee of RMB2,000 or USD240.

The Purchaser will send you the Bidding Document by courier. The Purchaser accepts no liability for loss or late delivery.

Bidders shall submit their bids:

  • on or before the deadline: 3:00 pm Beijing time on 15 March 2005. Late bids will be rejected.
  • together with a Bid Security of not less than RMBY 400,000 or USD50,000 per contract

The Purchaser is not responsible for bidders' expenses associated with preparing and delivering bids.

In comparison of Bids, ADB's Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Bidding Document.
