The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Tongxin-Yanchuanzi Expressway under Ningxia Roads Development Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named below.

CMC International Tendering Corporation (CITC), the Procurement Agent, authorized by Ningxia Yinwu Expressway Engineering Construction Headquarters (the Purchaser), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply, delivery and installation of the following goods:

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

To obtain the Bidding Document in English, bidders should:

  • write to or visit the CITC office between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Beijing time on all working days from 21 January to 21 March 2005
  • pay a non-refundable fee of RMB2,000 or USD240.

If requested, the Purchaser will send the Bidding Document by courier for an additional fee of RMBY400 or US$50. The Purchaser accepts no liability for loss or late delivery.

Bidders shall submit their bids:

  • on or before the deadline: 3:00 pm Beijing time on 21 March 2005. Late bids will be rejected.
  • together with a Bid Security of not less than RMBY 800,000 or US$96,000

The Purchaser is not responsible for bidders' expenses associated with preparing and delivering bids.

In comparison of Bids, ADB's Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Bidding Document.
