Loan No. 2215: Fiscal Management and Public Administration Reform Program
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has applied for a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Fiscal Management and Public Administration Reform Program. The loan was approved 14 December 2005. The Program will develop systems and procedures, supported by increased capacity, to improve budget programming, strengthen resource mobilization, develop the civil service, and enhance the monitoring of public finances. ProcurementThe loan proceeds will be used to finance the full foreign exchange cost of items produced and procured in ADB member countries, excluding ineligible items, and imports financed by other bilateral and multilateral sources.
