International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

To purchase the Bidding Document in English, eligible bidders should:
  • write to the above address
  • between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm from 3 April to 15 May 2006
  • pay a nonrefundable fee of RMB1,000 or USD120
  • pay an additional fee of RMB400 or USD50 for mail orders. The Document will be sent by courier immediately.

No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery

Bidders must deliver their bids:
  • to the address below
  • on or before 10:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) on 15 May 2006
  • together with Bid Security of not less than 2% of the Total Bid Price in an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency

Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address given above.

GEDC will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.

In the comparison of bids, ADB's Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Bidding Document.
