The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Hunan Roads Development II Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.

The Employer, Hunan Changji Expressway Construction and Development Corporation, through its Procurement Agent, CMC International Tendering Corporation, intends to prequalify firms for the following contracts under this Project:

It is expected that the invitation for Bids will be made in July 2007.

Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information and inspect the Prequalification Document from the addresses given below between 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Beijing Time) during working days.

To purchase the Prequalification Document in English:
  • write to the addresses below
  • pay a nonrefundable amount of RMB1,000 or US125, including mail, by cash, check or direct deposit

Deliver your Applications:
  • to the Employer's address below
  • at or before 3:00 p.m. (Beijing Time) on 31 April 2006

The Employer will not be responsible for costs or expenses incurred by Applicants with the preparation or delivery of their Applications.

The Employer will notify in writing all Applicants who have been prequalified.
