This Invitation for Prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in the "ADB Business Opportunities" on April 2004.

The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Harbin Water Supply Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.

China International Tendering Co., (CITC), authorized by Guangxi Communications Infrastructure Construction Administration Bureau, the Employer, intends to prequalify eligible firms for road works involving earthworks, sub-base, basecourse, concrete pavement, drainage, protection works and median separator:

It is expected that the invitation for Bids will be made in April 2006.

Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information and inspect the Prequalification Document from the Employer's address below between 8:30 to 11:30 and 15:00 to 17:00 (Beijing Time) starting 26 January 2006.

To purchase the Prequalification Document in English:
  • write to the Employer's address below between 8:30 to 11:30 and 15:00 to 17:00 (Beijing Time)
  • pay a nonrefundable amount of RMB1,000 or US120 by cash, check or direct deposit

Documents will be sent by registered airmail for an additional fee of USD25 or RMB200. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

Deliver your Applications
  • to the Employer's address below
  • on or before 26 March 2006
  • clearly marked "(Contract No._____) Application for Prequalification under Guangxi Roads Development II Project"

The Employer will not be responsible for costs or expenses incurred by Applicants with the preparation or delivery of their Applications.

The Employer will notify in writing all Applicants who have been prequalified.
