The Republic of Indonesia has applied for a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Roads Rehabilitation 2 Project and it intends that part of the proceeds of the loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.

The Directorate General of Highways, Ministry of Public Works invites firms to prequalify for the following contract associated with the project:

To obtain further information and inspect the Prequalification Document, please contact the addresses stated in the table above. Prequalification is open to firms and voluntarily formed joint ventures from eligible member countries.

To purchase the Prequalification Document in English:
  • write to the addresses stated in the table above
  • pay an nonrefundable fee of Rp 300,000 or USD30.0
The Prequalification Document will be sent by registered mail. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

Applications must be delivered to the addresses stated in the table above at 10:00 a.m, local time on or before 31 October 2005 and should be clearly marked:

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject late applications and is not responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the delivery or preparation of Applications.

The Employer will notify all applicants a list of those who prequalified for the contract.

The bidding committees will not be held responsible should the approval of the loan is not obtained.
