Deadline for Bids: 20 October 2005 The Independent State of Papua New Guinea has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Rehabilitation of the Maritime Navigation Aids System Project, and it is intended to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to eligible payments under the contracts for which this Invitation for Bids is issued. The Central Supply and Tenders Board on behalf of the Department of Transport now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders from member countries of the ADB for the construction and completion of the Maritime Navigation Aids System Project, Phase Three in Sandaun, E. Sepik, Madang, Morobe, Oro, Central, Gulf and Western involving:
- removal of one existing pile and seven tower structures
- installation of ten pile structures and two buoys
- construction of eight lighthouse towers
- minor maintenance at thirty five aids to navigation sites
- installation of new aids to navigation equipment at all of the above sites
- other works as specified in the tender documents
- write to the address below
- pay of a non-refundable fee of US$200 in cashiers' check payable to Papua New Guinea Central Supply and Tender's Board.

- together with a Bid Security of PNG KINA equivalent to US$60,000 included in the technical proposal
