The People's Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Acid Rain Control and Environmental Improvement Project, and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.

The CNCC International Tendering Co., Ltd. (CNCCCITC), the Procurement Agent for Anhui Tongdu Copper Co., Ltd., Purchaser, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to bidders from eligible source countries.

The Bidding Document may be sent by courier for an additional fee of RMB200.0 or USD25.0 No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

Bidders should submit their bids:

  • together with a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the total bid price.

Late bids shall be rejected.

The Purchaser is not responsible for bidders' expenses associated with preparing and delivering bids.

In the comparison of bids, ADB's Domestic Preference will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders.
