Loan No. 1943: Dhaka Clean Fuel Project

Deadline for Bids: 20 February 2006 The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Dhaka Clean Fuel Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to eligible payments under the contracts for which this Invitation for Bid is issued. The Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders from member countries of the ADB for installation of Natural Gas City Gate Stations (CGSs) at Ashulia and Aminbazar, Dhaka on design-build and turnkey basis. The Works include: Design, Engineering, Procurement of materials, fabrication/ construction, installation and testing & commissioning of two nos. high pressure CGSs, each having capacity of 200 MMSCFD including tie-in-works with the 20-inch nominal diameter mainline and all related civil works following the conceptual P&ID on design-build and turnkey basis. (Details and specifications are provided in the Bidding Document) International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage:Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to Bidders from eligible source countries.
