Loan Nos. 2266: Secondary Education Sector Development Project
The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Secondary Education Sector Development Project. The loan was approved 26 October 2006. The Project loan will focus on improving the efficiency and quality of secondary education while enhancing access. The Project will have three outputs:- strengthened management of, and transparency in, secondary education;
- higher quality secondary education; and
- more equitable access to secondary education
Procurement of goods and services will be in accordance with ADB's Procurement Guidelines. Consulting Services
A team of consultants will provide services in range of specializations, with estimated international inputs of about 92 person-months and national inputs of about 212 person-months. The team will be engaged through a firm using the quality- and cost-based selection method, and a full technical proposal will be used for the recruitment.
