Loan No. 2267: Secondary Education Sector Development Program
The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Secondary Education Sector Development Program. The loan was approved 26 October 2006. The objective of the Program loan is to reduce poverty in Bangladesh, through human resource development, by improving the relevance of secondary education to the needs of the labor market. ProcurementThe Program loan proceeds will be used to finance the foreign exchange cost of items produced and procured in ADB member countries, excluding items included in the list of ineligible items and imports financed by other bilateral and multilateral sources.
