1. India has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Urban Water Supply and Environmental Improvement in Madhya Pradesh Project and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.

2. Indore Municipal Corporation now invites bids for the construction and completion of the works given below:

Lot No.1: Replacement of Pipe from Intake to Existing WTP (Ch. 210 m to 3290m)

Lot No.2: Raw Water Pumping main from Intake Well to WTP (Chainage 210 m to 14250 m)
Minimum Average Annual Turnover of Rs. 12.75 Crores (or US$ 2,772,000.00) for Lot No.1 and Rs. 47.60 Crores (or US$ 10,348,000.00) for Lot No.2, and Rs. 60.35 Crores (or US$ 13,120,000.00) for combined bidding of Lot 1 and Lot 2, within the last three financial years.

Experience during last ten years of supply, laying, testing and commissioning of at least 700 mm diameter GRP Pipeline for atleast 1.5 km length for Lot No. 1 under single contract and supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of atleast 1100 mm diameter MS Pipeline for at least 7 km length for LOT No. 2 under single contract.

For combined bidding of Lot Nos. 1 and 2, both the above conditions should be fulfilled.

Lot No. 1 Constructing Break Pressure Tank and Supply, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of M.S. Gravity Main pipeline from Break Pressure Tank to Mhow Military Area (Ch. 0 to Ch. 23165)

Lot No. 2 Supply, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of M.S. Gravity Main pipe line from Mhow Military Area to Control Point at BIJALPUR (Ch. 23165 to Ch. 43055).
Minimum Average Annual Turnover of Rs. 56.80 Crores (or US$ 12,348,000.00) for Lot No. 1 and Rs. 48.90 Crores (or US$ 10,631,000) for Lot No. 2 and Rs. 105.70 Crores (or US$ 22,979,000.00) for combined bidding of Lot Nos. 1 and 2 within the last three financial years.

Experience during last ten years of Supply, Laying, Testing and Commissioning of at least 900 mm diameter of MS pipeline of atleast 10 km length for Lot No. 1 under single contract and Supply, Laying, Testing and Commissioning of atleast 900 mm diameter of MS pipeline of at least 10 km length for Lot No. 2 under single contract.

For combined bidding of Lot Nos. 1 and 2, both the above conditions should be fulfilled.
Package No.: IND/WS/13- Supply, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of Feeder Mains & all allied Works in Indore City. Minimum Average Annual Turnover of Rs 64.38 Crores (or US$ 13,995,700.00) during the last three financial years.

Experience during last ten years of Supply, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of 600 mm and above diameter DI or MS or combined pipeline of at least 20 km length under single contract.
Package No.: IND/WS/17- Supply, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of Pure Water Pumping Main from Water Treatment Plant to Break Pressure Tank. Minimum Average Annual Turnover of Rs 46.05 Crores (or US$ 10,011,000.00) during the last three financial years.

Experience during last ten years should be of Supply, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of atleast 1000 mm diameter MS pipeline of at least 3.5 km length under single contract.

3. Bidders may bid for one or both contracts. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so provided those discounts are included in the letter of Bid. In case of joint venture, all partners combined must meet all financial and relevant experience requirements. One partner must meet 40% of all financial requirements and each of the other partner(s) must meet the minimum 25% of all financial requirements.

4. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two-Envelope Bidding Procedure. The bids may either be sent to the address below or may be submitted electronically.

12. Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline in the presence of bidders' representatives who chose to attend. Late bids will be rejected.
