1. The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Sustainable Power Sector Development Project and it is intended that part of the proceeds of the loan will be applied to payments for works related to Part C of the Project.
2. The Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) now invites sealed bids from the eligible bidders for two packages to be executed within the area mentioned in the Bidding Documents.

3. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two-Envelope Bidding Procedure and are open to all bidders from the eligible source countries of ADB.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from the address given below:

5. To purchase the Bidding Documents in English, bidders should:
- submit a written application to the address above
- pay a nonrefundable fee, as mentioned in the table above, in the form of demand draft or pay order favoring "Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited."
6. Bids must be delivered:
- to the address above;
- on or before the closing date and time as mentioned above;
- together with the respective Bid Security stated in the table in para.2.
Late Bids shall be rejected. Bids sent through any type of mail(s) shall not be accepted. Bids will be opened at 12:30 hours (BST) on the day of submission in the presence of bidder(s) or their representative(s) who will be interested to attend.
7. DPDC will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of the bids.
8. In the comparison of bids, ADB's Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Bidding Documents.
