Deadline for Bids:3:00 p.m., Cambodia Standard Time, on 30 December 2009

1.    The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of GMS: Cambodia Road Improvement Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Road Furniture Streamlining for NR 5, 6 and 7.

2.    The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) of the Kingdom of Cambodia now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Road Furniture Streamlining for NR 5, 6 and 7. The works involving supply and installation of road and information signs, road markings, guide posts, guardrails, kilometer posts and others.

3.    International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure.

4.    To purchase the Bidding Document in English, bidders should:

  • Submit a written application to the address below;
  • Pay a nonrefundable fee of US$ 100.00 . The method of payment will be in cash or bank draft in favor of Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
  • For an additional fee of US$ 50.00 (local delivery) or US$ 100.00 (overseas delivery) the Bidding Document may be sent via courier.

5.    Bid must be delivered:

  • to the address below;
  • on or before 3:00 p.m., Cambodia Standard Time, on 30 December 2009. Late bids shall be rejected.
  • All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of amount specified in the Bidding Document.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 3:30 p.m. on 30 December 2009.

6.    The Ministry of Public Works and Transport will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
