1.    The Republic of Indonesia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Madrasah Education Development Project, and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.

2.    The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) Directorate General of Islamic Education Year 2009, invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of the following goods: Procurement of Hardware and Software for Project Monitoring Information System. Details and specifications are provided in the Bidding Document.

3.    National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

4.    Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Committee of Directorate General of Islamic Education, and inspect the Bidding Documents during working days at the office address given below between 09.00 am to 14.00 pm starting from 16 July 2009.

5.    To purchase the Bidding Document, eligible Bidders should :

  1. visit the office of Procurement Committee of Directorate General of Islamic Education, at the address indicated below and pay a nonrefundable fee of Rp. 100,000;
    or
  2. request for delivery by sending a written application to the Procurement Committee of Directorate General of Islamic Education, at the address indicated below. The application must include a cashier's check, in favor of Procurement Committee of Directorate General of Islamic Education, amounting to Rp. 150,000 for domestic delivery or USD 20 for overseas delivery. The document will be sent by express airmail. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6.    Bids must be delivered :

  • to the address below;
  • on or before 14.00 pm on 21 August 2009. Late Bids will be rejected.

Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below.

7.    All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than Rp. 120,000 or US$12,000.

8.    The Procurement Committee of Directorate General of Islamic Education Fiscal Year 2009 will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
