Consultancy Engagement: Quality at Entry Assessment

The Quality at Entry (QAE) ratings exercise is intended to deliver an important commitment to the Asian Development Fund donors and to contribute towards achieving Asian Development Bank's (ADB's) corporate vision - An Asia and Pacific Region Free of Poverty.

The quality-at-entry assessment is part of ADB's accountability framework for managing for development results. The outputs of the QAE ratings will also contribute to Level 3 Operational Effectiveness of the ADB-wide Results Framework. It is also expected to contribute to learning and product quality improvement by allowing ADB to track the trends in quality-at-entry and manage for continuous improvement. Country and project teams can also use the QAE standards for self-assessment at the design of projects and also country partnership strategies.
