Project Impact

Improved efficiency and impartiality in the judicial system

Project Outcome

(1) Improved quality and efficiency in trial proceedings and judgments on cases relating to economic and commercial laws at the local courts with emphasis in the less developed western regions and update the judiciary made rules; and (2) improved jurisprudence of economic laws based on in-depth understanding of the transactional practice and regulatory focus.

Project Outputs

(1) Development of training programs suitable for continuing training in the judicial system; (2) conduct of training in the area of economic laws; and (3) updating and compilation of the judiciary made rules in the selected areas of economic laws and interaction between the judiciary and transaction practitioners and regulatory authorities.

Consulting Services

The TA will require about five-and-a-half person-months of national consultants' services over 18 months.
