REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
LOAN 1836: SOCIAL SECURITY SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Mongolia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank towards the cost of the Social Security Sector Development Project (SSSDP), and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the ensuing contract for Feasibility Study and Terms of Reference for establishment of Management Information System (MIS) of Social Security Sector of Mongolia. The consulting services will be carried out by a consulting firm and this Request for Expressions of Interest is open to eligible consulting firms from Asian Development Bank member countries. The Ministry of Social Welfare and Labour is the Implementing Agency for the Project.
The objective of the assignment is:
The successful consulting firm shall conduct feasibility study and prepare Terms of Reference for establishment of the Information and Communication Technology based MIS of the Social Security Sector of Mongolia including but not limited to detailed action plan, cost estimate, design, functional specifications, and forms for individual modules, software and software packages and the system. The Ministry of Social Welfare and Labour shall use the outputs from this consulting services contract in the actual establishment of the MIS of the Sector.
The Project Management Unit for the SSSDP now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). A firm may associate to enhance its qualification.
Expressions of Interest may be sent by post mail, email or fax (fax is least preferred). Interested consulting firms may obtain further information at the address below from Monday to Friday during 9:30-13:00 and 14:00-17:30 hours (Ulaanbaatar time).
Expressions of Interest must be delivered to the address below before 17:30 hours (Ulaanbaatar time) of 4 May 2006.
