The TA is to prepare an investment project design agreed to by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (the Government) and ADB, which will be suitable for ADB financing under a multitranche financing facility (MFF).
- Project Outputs
-
The TA will (i) undertake feasibility of the ensuing investment project; (ii) recommend improvement options for the project road including the Kyrgyz/PRC border post; (iii) prepare project costing and financing plan; and (iv) undertake due diligence on social and environmental safeguard issues in accordance with ADB policies on environment, resettlement, and indigenous peoples.
- Consulting Services

The TA will require a total of 16 person-months of consulting services (6 international and 10 national) to be provided by individual consultants. This includes (i) 4 person-months of international road engineer cum transport economist, (ii) 2 person-months of international social and environmental specialist, and (iii) 10 person-months of national consultants. Individual international consultants will be selected in accordance with the Guidelines on the Use of Consultants by Asian Development Bank (2007, as amended from time to time) following biodata technical proposal.
