The TA objective is to improve information flow for Asian bond markets through managing an Asian Bonds Online Website.
- Project Outcome
-
The improved information flow will help to increase the transparency, liquidity, efficiency, credibility and depth of bond markets in the region, lower funding costs for Asian bond issuers, and facilitate cross-border capital flows. It will support the streamlining of organizational and regulatory procedures for bond market access and enhance corporate governance and higher disclosure standards.
- Project Outputs

The TA will facilitate monetary financial cooperation and integration through developing robust local currency bond markets in the region, and thus support key result areas of the Office of Regional Economic Integration (OREI) based on the Regional Cooperation and Integration (RCI) strategy.
- Consulting Services

International (individual) consultants: (i) 1 bond market specialist (team leader) for 12 person-months; (ii) bond market economist for 3 person-months; (iii) securitization deal specialist for 3 person-months; and (iv) economics editor for 3 person-months.
National (individual) consultants: (i) financial markets analysts for 90 person-months; (ii) web developers for 30 person-months; (iii) web graphic designers for 12 person-months; and securitization credit analyst for 6 person-months.
