The TA will strengthen strategy, policy and institutional analyses, understanding, discussion and formulation and thereby advance the pro-poor policy agenda and development of capacity for the same. It will focus on the endemic constraints to improving public and private sector productivity throough (i) participatory local discussion of policies and the means to capacity development that work to reduce poverty, and (ii) the local formulation of strategies that can address the lack of acceptance of reform and capacity development.

Updated analyses of key development issues and pro-poor policy options used by Pacific DMC governments, civil socity, and media.
- Project Outputs

The TA will produce (i) economic and social updates for selected PDMCs, (ii) other sector and thematic updates, including environment, gender, poverty and governance; (iii) institutional and organizational assessments of capacity, and (iv) the informed participarty drafting by governments and civil societies of individual Pacific DMC pro-poor policy options and development strategies that will address the means for improving public and private sector productivity (i.e., address the priorities of the poor in the Pacific).
