The impact of the TA will be improved governance and accountability mechanisms in AOA member countries. Over the long run, improved government accountability and ability to undertake corrective action will reduce corruption, inefficiency and the cost of doing business that adversely impact economic growth.

The outcome of the TA will be a more effective and efficient AOA.
- Project Outputs

The TA will support the establishment of a resource center within AOA, whose primary objective will be to support the operations of member institutions through effective knowledge management, dissemination and capacity development.
The resource center will undertake the following activities: (i) preparation and dissemination of knowledge products; (ii) knowledge sharing; (iii) capacity building activities; (iv) building an e-Library; and (v) establishing a Small Grants Facility that will provide grants to AOA members which are located in ADB DMCs.
- Consulting Services

The TA will require 7 person-months of international experts and resource persons and 28 person-months of national consulting services. Of the national consultants, one expert will be engaged in a long-term basis to provide inputs on to enhance the effectiveness of the resource center. All experts, including resource persons and national consultants will be hired as individual consultants according to ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants (2007, as amended from time to time).
