Country Assistance Program Evaluation for the Lao People's Democratic Republic

The Country Assistance Program Evaluation (CAPE) for the Lao PDR rated ADB's overall Country Strategies and Programs (CSP) as successful. The Board's Development Effectiveness Committee considered the report excellent. The report developed a systematic set of criteria to assess the quality at entry of the CSP in terms of relevance/harmonization and positioning/coherence. It also provided a results matrix to trace results chain by sector.
