The case studies [ PDF: 1,341kb | 56 pages ] show that in India, resettlement has been a painful process, due to divergent ADB and Government standards and processes for the handling of involuntary resettlement in projects, land in some cases lack of attention for and experience with the process. The study includes some photos.
