Post Workshop Statement

Purpose

This meeting will establish an informal drafting group bringing together technical experts from selected Asia and Pacific countries and international experts who are interested in taking an active role in the development of a regional Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia and the Pacific.

Objectives

At the end of the seminar, participants will have

• identified and discussed the main issues to be included in the Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia and the Pacific
• drafted the first reference text to be circulated among interested governments in the region for review and comments

Expected Outputs

First draft of the Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia and the Pacific

Target Participants

Participation is by invitation only. Participants include

• high-level senior government officials and experts from the Asia-Pacific
• representatives from concerned international and regional organizations
