Third ADB-OECD Conference on Combating Corruption in the Asia-Pacific RegionIn cooperation with the Government of Japan

Seventeen Asian and Pacific governments today endorsed a regional action plan [ PDF: 45kb | 8 pages ] to fight corruption. The joint action came at the end of the Third Annual Conference of the ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific, hosted by the Government of Japan and organized by the ADB and OECD. More than 150 people participated in the meeting, including representatives of governments, businesses, media, international agencies and nongovernment organizations (NGOs). |

Participation is by invitation only
Resource speakers from various governments and agencies of ADB/OECD member countries who had successful experiences in curbing corruption and who are in the process of implementing reforms to strengthen their effectivess in the fight against corruption (names to be announced later)
