Demutualization of Stock Exchanges

The seminar will provide participants with the practical technical skills, procedural knowledge and regulatory tools and techniques to deal with a stock exchange that is seeking to demutualize or has undertaken this conversion. The following topics will be discussed in the seminar:
- Fundamentals of demutualizing a stock exchange
- Structuring issues
- Conflicts of interest issues
- Logistics involved for the both the Regulator and the Exchange in the demutualization process
- Regulatory issues for a demutualized exchange
- Country case studies addressing the experience of both exchanges and regulators
