Vehicle Emissions Reduction Event
Organized by the Asian Development Bank, with the support of the United States-Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP), Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (CAI-Asia), Envirox, and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Post-workshop statementThe fifth and final workshop under RETA 5937 was held at ADB Headquarters from February 28 to March 1, 2002. About 150 representatives from government, the fuel and vehicle industry, research institutions, and civil society attended the workshop. This Concluding Workshop brings together the lessons learned from the previous four regional workshops held in Four ADB-sponsored action plans from China , India, Indonesia, and Viet Nam were also presented.Workshop participants also got to view an exhibit which ran from February 26 to March 1 outside the ADB auditorium. The exhibit featured poster campaigns, new technology, and actual emissions testing equipment from different organizations. Downloads
