The Asian Development Bank is organizing a Water Week to stimulate knowledge development in the water sector and promote dialogue with development partners on important water sector issues.
The overall theme for this year is “Water for All - Getting ADB’s Water Policy to Work.” Session themes are linked to the basic elements of ADB’s Water Policy. The session themes for Water Week are:
The sessions will follow a modular format:
One session is allocated for dialogue with development partners, including invited representatives of donors, NGOs, private sector, and the academe.
The expected presentation of the ADB Water Prize will be a highlight of Water Week. The Prize will be presented to a project agency in recognition for good practice in an ADB-financed project.
Participation in the Water Week is by invitation. Interested parties can contact the coordinators.
