The GMS Atlas is one of the first knowledge-based publications undertaken by ADB. Prepared in close collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

The Atlas provides a fairly comprehensive presentation of the land based environmental resources of the Mekong subregion, and relates them to the socioeconomic dynamics of the six GMS countries - Cambodia, PRC, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.
