Southeast Asia and Mekong Subregional Training Workshop on Project Pre-Feasibility Studies
ADB Headquarters, Manila, Philippines: 9-12 March 2004




Purpose

This workshop aims to further enhance the capacity of the national technical experts (NTEs) under the PREGA project. It will enable the NTEs in enhancing their skills for preparation of project pre-feasibility studies.

Objectives

The objectives of the workshop are:

  • to enhance the participants' skills preparing project pre-feasibility studies.
  • to familiarize themselves on policy, technical, economic, and financial analysis, in line with project formulation and identification of greenhouse gas mitigation projects including CDM.
  • to actually visit a geothermal plant and be briefed on the feasibility and technical operations of a renewable energy project.

Target Participants

  • National Technical Experts and National Counterpart Agencies from Indonesia, Philippines, and Viet Nam
