The Network of Asian River Basin Organizations (NARBO) Secretariat and the Korea Water Resources Corporation (KOWACO) organized the 3rd NARBO Training Workshop, with the theme “Technology for Integrated Water Resources Management – River Basin Approach.” The training workshop adopted the pragmatic approach to the improvement of water management in Asia.
NARBO was established to share knowledge and build capacity for IWRM in river basins throughout Asia and to strengthen river basin organizations’ (RBOs) capacity and effectiveness in promoting IWRM and improving water governance. Previous training workshops were held in Thailand and Sri Lanka.
