The workshops aimed to promote deeper understanding of the PBA policy among ADF-borrowing countries and other in-country stakeholders. It also sought to establish in-country capacity that can support ownership of the policy.

At the end of the workshops, participants have:
- familiarized themselves with the ADB’s revised PBA policy
- understood how allocations of ADF resources are computed
- understood the various frameworks associated to PBA policy which are patterned after IDA’s (country performance assessment framework, post-conflict framework, grants framework)

- Completion report synthesizing workshop discussions to determine possible improvements/enhancements to the policy.
