The objectives of the meeting are to:
- present the outcome of activities carried out in Phase I of
PREGA to all important stakeholders
- assess the needs for capacity building
- find ways to increase investments on renewable energy, energy
efficiency and greenhouse gas abatement projects in Nepal.

At the end of the workshop, the participants
- would be aware of the activities and updated with the outcome
of PREGA Phase I
- would be updated with the outcome of the Phase I
- could identify capacity building needs in each of their specific
sectors.

About 80-100 important stakeholders from the government, private sector, I/NGOs, research institutions, donors etc. participated in the workshop.
