Conference on the PRC and Mongolia Trade Facilitation and Trade Logistics Development
10-11 November 2006: Erenhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, PRC

More than 40 delegates from the PRC and 30 delegates from Mongolia participated in the conference chaired by EARG Director Barry Hitchcock (pictured, center).

Cohosted by ADB, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (IMAR) and the Erenhot Government, the conference reviewed trade logistics studies for Mongolia and Inner Mongolia, examined issues, and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation for trade logistics development. The conference was organized to maximize the synergy of the two studies, facilitate better understanding of the issues and induce coordinated policy changes in both countries.
