The launch is aimed at further disseminating information on the Core Labor Standards (CLS) to ADB staff and to other development partners. The Handbook is a result of joint collaboration between ADB and the International Labour Organization (ILO).

The launch of the Handbook will further inform ADB staff on CLS and its appropriate application to ADB operations. The launch also presents an opportunity for ADB, ILO and other development partners to dialogue on matters related to CLS.
