Also discussed were results and challenges in Gender Action Plan implementation (GAP) under
All RM GSs reported strong support by their Country Directors for gender mainstreaming at the program and project levels. Good team spirit among the RM GSs and the larger ADB gender team increased motivation to improve results on GAD policy implementation.
Participants to the Workshop felt that the detailed discussions on the project cycle and loan presentations had clarified expectations on their roles at different stages of loan processing and implementation. In addition, the interactive nature of the workshop allowed the new GSs to ask questions and learn from their more experienced peers.
