RETA 6306 Regional Forum on Mainstreaming Managing for Development Results (MfDR)
Bangkok, Thailand: 13-14 November 2007
Objectives | Target Participants
The Forum has been designed to achieve the following objectives:
- To review and discuss methods, approaches and experience of assessing organization readiness for the implementation of MfDR, including the ability and capacity of government officials and managers in these organizations to manage the change process
- To review and discuss the areas of potential action in Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan to address the identified gaps and assess which of these required actions are complementary to public sector reforms and other efforts at managing for better development results
- To generate new approaches to the implementation of MfDR, particularly at the level of the organization, and to assess which of these approaches and other implementation gaps can generate potential support from the donor community and other stakeholders
