HIV/AIDS Cooperation Fund Midterm Review Workshop

ADB is currently undertaking a midterm evaluation of its Cooperation Trust Fund for HIV/AIDS in Asia and Pacific. The process includes a regional consultation workshop at the ADB Headquarters in Manila on the 1st and 2nd of October 2008 where the preliminary findings from the evaluation team will be presented. The meeting will be attended by key regional stakeholders in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Asia and the Pacific. The main objective is to review and define the role of ADB, in collaboration with its regional partners, in fighting HIV and AIDS, in the context of the new ADB's Strategy 2020.
The full objectives of the workshop are to:
- obtain feedback/inputs for the Evaluation Report
- provide the participants, our partners within the region, some useful insights based on the locus of applied experience by ADB in its projects
- discuss potential ADB interventions and collaboration and partnerships in fighting HIV/AIDS
