Training of Facilitators in Results-focused Project Design and Management

This workshop aims to create a pool of facilitators, knowledgeable about participatory tools used in result-focused project design and management and their application, who DMCs and ADB can call on for support.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have:

• a sound understanding of ADB's Project Performance Management System (PPMS) and the Design and Monitoring Framework
• knowledge and practical experience in applying the participatory tools used in designing results focused projects analyzed the local conditions surrounding the problem/ area of concern
• learned about the principals of facilitation and practiced facilitation skills in the context of project design and management.

• Individual consultants or staff of consulting firms with prior experience in project design, i.e. engaged in project preparatory technical assistance (PPTA)
• Government officials from oversight agencies and line ministries engaged in project design and management
• ADB staff responsible for project design and implementation
