The UNESCO-IHE, PUB, ADB Cooperation on Developing Water Knowledge and Lessons aims to make knowledge exchange and experiences sharing among Asia’s foremost water institutions and professionals faster and more efficient.
The Cooperation is particularly keen on supporting the APWF’s 1st key result area (KRA 1) on developing water knowledge and lessons. Both Singapore PUB and UNESCO-IHE are co-leaders in achieving progress in KRA 1, while ADB has committed to APWF’s 1st Priority Theme on water financing.
One of the Cooperation’s core activities is to review water capacity development and experience within the region and explore opportunities for further collaboration in capacity development. As part of the activities under this thrust, the Cooperation is organizing a workshop on “New Concepts in Integrated Management of the Urban Water Cycle” at the Singapore International Water Week.

The workshop will focus on innovative concepts in urban water management, and their introduction and current use in Asia's cities.
