At the end of the workshop, participants will have:
- familiarized themselves with the issue of Climate Change, its impact on the developing economies of Asia and the Pacific and the mitigation and adaptation measures necessary and in place to help DMCs cope with Climate Change
- Learned advanced journalistic and television techniques to produce compelling stories on Climate Change
- Started to formulated story ideas that they will turn into 3- to 5-minute news feature items (NFIs) for broadcast by their host organizations
Top
- 3 to 5-minute NFIs broadcast by the host broadcast television or radio organizations of the participants
- "Echo" seminars conducted by participants among their colleagues in their host organizations, thereby increasing knowledge about Climate Change in the broadcast industry

Participation is by invitation only
- Participants were selected based on their professional qualifications
- Experienced mid-career broadcast journalists will be invited
