Regional Seminar: Gender, Environment and Natural Resources Management

The seminar is part of a series of lateral learning events organized by ADB designed for government staff implementing ADB-financed loan and grant projects. This year's seminar will highlight key environment and natural resources management issues, energy security for women, climate change and disaster risk management, and urban environment management.

The seminar aims to:

• showcase gender-inclusive ADB loan projects currently achieving successful results;
• promote the development and implementation of gender action plans as a tool for gender mainstreaming;
• promote cross-fertilization of experience among senior government officials associated in the implementation of ADB projects; and
• build the capacity of staff implementing ADB loan projects for greater gender equality results.
