The presentation discussed the latest developments in Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and its application to developing countries in Asia with special focus on reduction of congestion and traffic accidents, reduction of carbon dioxide, and improvement of public transportation. ITS will contribute to not only solving traffic problems in mega-cities but enhance effect of investment in transportation infrastructure.
