Draft Guidelines on Monitoring and Evaluation of Resettlement
Request for Public Comments
ADB's Involuntary Resettlement Policy requires the preparation of resettlement
plans for projects that engender resettlement. Good resettlement management
and effective supervision will contribute to a successful implementation of
these resettlement plans. Through careful monitoring and evaluation, problems
and constraints in resettlement implementation are identified early. This will
enable the executing (EA) or implementing agency (IA) or both to make necessary
adjustments and adopt appropriate corrective measures during project implementation.
