The Summary Poverty Reduction,
Social Strategy, and Poverty Impact Assessment points
out sectors that are disadvantaged because of their gender, ethnicity,
or lack of access to economic or political power.
The program supports ethnic minority representatives in the local government councils and the Citizen Community Board develop their capacity to fully engage in the political process.
The program's synergistic effects of access to justice and access to service reforms improves existing geographic, gender, class, and ethnic disparities. It also enhances the Local Government's capacity of managing resources accountably and equitably, thereby rectifying historically entrenched social inequalities (gender, class, ethnicity).
