Institute requisite planning, financing and physical implementation mechanisms at provincial level to execute sustained, labor-intensive routine and preventive road maintenance; and execute maintenance of about 600 km of maintainable roads in Banteay Meanchey, Battambang and Pailin provinces over 3 years to demonstrate the efficiency of road maintenance.
Demonstrate the potential for increasing the direct poverty reduction impact of the national roads network and mobilize road maintenance funds for the provincial governments.
Project PurposePilot-test sustainable finance and decentralized management of labor-intensive road maintenance.
