- Provide income-generating opportunities to 4,500 Tsunami Affected Poor People (TAPP), including women, for 4 months
- Rehabilitate about 500 kilometers (km) of line drainage for tsunami-affected local government roads
Grant Development Objective (GDO)
The primary objective of the Project is to improve the quality of life for tsunami-affected poor people through a cash-for-work program that;
- Generates income for TAPP and;
- Rehabilitates line drainage systems of the tsunami-affected local government roads, thereby restoring sustainable local road networks for residents' use as they restart their livelihood activities in the tsunami-affected area.
Project Purpose
The purpose of the project is to restore livelihood activities of TAPP and rehabilitate local road networks in the tsunami-affected area
Expected Outputs
The expected outcomes follows:
- Provide income-generating opportunities to 4,500 TAPP, including women, for 4 months,
- Rehabilitate about 500 kilometers (km) of line drainage for tsunami-affected local government roads;
- Improvement in TAPP living conditions.
